Night Moves is the ninth studio album by American rock singer Bob Seger, and his first with The Silver Bullet Band. It was released in 1976 on Capital Records. Recorded at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studios in Alabama it also features the incredible musicians of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section.
For you Drive By Truckers fans, you might recognize that Patterson Hood's father David Hood was the bass player for the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section and the founder of Muscle Shoals Sound Studio where he produced songs for The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, and Cher along with others. David Hood has played bass on albums by Cat Stevens, Paul Simon, Bob Seger, Traffic, The Staple Singers, Frank Black, John Hiatt and Percy Sledge.
